Mysterium Dice Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to love your dice. If something is genuinely wrong, we will always do our best to make it right. The following outlines where returns and refunds apply, and where they unfortunately do not.

Return Window

You have 7 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible, your item must:
• Be unused and in the same condition that you received it
• Include the receipt or proof of purchase
• Be approved by us before shipping it back

To start a return, email hello@mysteriumdice.com. If approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send the package. Items returned without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.


Handmade Item Disclaimer

Every set we create is individually handmade, poured, polished, inked, and finished by human hands, not machines. Because of that, minor imperfections are both natural and expected.

The following variations are considered normal and not defects:
• Slight hue differences from website photos
• Pattern or colour balance variation
• Small bubbles or particles within the dice
• Minor rounding on corners
• Light tooling marks
• Slightly uneven sanding
• Number ink that is imperfect or has minor residue

Perfection is for factory moulds, not artisan dice. If you want completely uniform dice, ours may not be the best fit for what you are looking for.

We only provide refunds where the item is truly defective, meaning damage or issues that affect functionality or render the dice unusable.


Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If you receive:
• The wrong item
• A defective item
• An item damaged in transit

Email us immediately at hello@mysteriumdice.com with clear photographs so we can investigate and resolve the issue promptly.


International Shipping Policy

Due to the nature of international duties, taxes, high return shipping costs, and customs complexities, all international orders are final sale.

We unfortunately cannot accept returns or issue refunds for orders shipped outside South Africa, unless there is a confirmed defect or fulfilment error on our side.


Exceptions and Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned or refunded:
• Custom or personalised items
• Earrings, due to hygiene reasons
• Sale or discounted items
• Gift cards
• Any international order (except confirmed defective items)

If you have questions about your specific item, please contact us before purchasing.


Exchanges

If you want something different, the fastest method is:

  1. Request a return for your current item (if eligible), and

  2. Place a new order for the item you want

Once your return is processed, we will handle your refund as applicable.


Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval status. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

Banks and credit card providers may take additional time to process the refund to your account.
