Shipping Policy

At Mysterium Dice, every parcel is prepared with care to ensure your handmade dice travel safely from our studio to your door.


Shipping Costs

Mysterium Dice is based in Cape Town, South Africa. We work with a trusted courier partner for all deliveries.

  • South Africa (Main Centres): Flat rate of R120

  • Outlying or remote areas: Additional fees may apply

  • International shipping: Rates are calculated automatically at checkout, based on parcel weight and destination

If you are unsure whether your address is considered outlying or international, please contact hello@mysterariumdice.com before placing your order.


International Shipping

We currently ship to:

  • United States

  • Canada

  • Mexico

  • Namibia

  • Countries within Europe

Shipping fees do not include duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees. These charges are determined by your country’s customs authority and are solely the responsibility of the recipient.

Mysterium Dice is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by customs processing

  • Government import restrictions

  • Parcels refused due to unpaid duties or taxes

International orders are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded unless there is a confirmed defect or dispatch error.

Only secure credit card payments are accepted for international orders. Bank deposits are not supported for overseas payments.


Production & Lead Times

All dice are handmade to order. Production times vary depending on design complexity and order size.

  • Standard orders: Up to 14 business days to craft before dispatch

  • Bulk or multi-set orders: Additional time may apply (we will notify you promptly if so)

Production time does not include transit time. Delivery duration is determined by the courier and your local processing systems.


Transit, Lost Parcels & Liability

Once a parcel leaves our studio and is handed over to our courier partner, it is considered successfully dispatched.

At that point:

  • Responsibility transfers to the courier

  • We cannot be held liable for delays, courier errors, or lost/stolen parcels

  • We do not provide refunds for courier-related disruptions

While we cannot guarantee courier outcomes, we will assist where possible in communicating with the courier. Final resolution rests with the courier and/or postal service.

Mysterium Dice does not offer shipping insurance on parcels.


Damages

If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us at hello@mysteriumdice.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of:

  • The damaged item(s)

  • All packaging materials

  • The shipping label

This helps us assess the issue and resolve it correctly.
